Demo Desco generator
Internally, it’s important we can showcase our Harvest platform for sales, fundraising, marketing, and training purposes. Ensuring data privacy for existing customers whilst only demonstrating features that would not affect production data made it difficult to run live full-featured demos for new customers. With the launch of this “Demo Desco Generator” we can now generate anonymized, yet realistic, data for the demonstration of our Harvest platform – without exposing sensitive information. The demonstration data fills everything from high-level overview dashboards to the insights and analytics of individual homes.
Building this feature was a tremendous effort towards bolstering our API infrastructure, ultimately resulting in a flexible architecture that allows us to expose useful tools and functionality via simple user interfaces.

Stability improvements
Bug fixes in this release included:
- Offload more battery and panel data about each active installation for easier trend and reliability analysis
- Support new variations of sensor data messages from the pods to include new battery parameters and higher precision sensor values
