Highlights

Optimized data for remote debugging

In order to ensure the highest quality of service both to households and when supporting customer maintenance teams, the data each device sends to the cloud is hugely crucial. Previously data was sent at a regular interval with an additional 1 set of data at the instance of an error. This release enables the capture of a bunch of snapshots at a high frequency leading up to an error, so when performing remote analysis there is a clear picture of what the device was responding to as the error occurred. This release also streamlines how repeated errors are captured to reduce data costs while still indicating a persistent error state.

Stability improvements

Bug fixes/small features in this release included:

  • Add more info to technician menu info pages
  • Prevent oscillations in the specific grid state transition
  • Upgraded control algorithms to run faster, be synchronized with sensor readings and shut down even faster than the normal system protections to protect hardware under transient stress
