Overview

As an accountant you will leverage your experience to manage Okra’s internal financial processes,  ensuring Okra complies with all tax rules, managing budgeting & cash flow management and completing financial reporting for various internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly driven individual literate in accounting, we are also looking for someone diligent and focused on budgeting and forecasting who can contribute to Okra’s financial management strategy with passion.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Keeping: Performing bookkeeping functions and ensuring that all accounting and financial transactions were done in compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.
  • Accounts Payable: Owning execution accounts payable functions.
  • Month-end closing: Support month-closing tasks as well as assist in the preparation of Financial Reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensuring Financial Policies and Procedures are adhered to. Observing strict adherence in meeting deadlines for submission of reports and in providing timely and accurate financial information being requested from time to time.
  • Maintain finance’s archive updated
